Hi, I’m Brittany

Hair has always been more than just a service for me. It’s a creative process and a way to create something that feels fully customized to the person sitting in my chair.

I’m based in Winnipeg and specialize in custom keratin bond extensions, blonding, and corrective colour. My work focuses on creating results that feel natural, seamless, and intentionally designed, never overdone or one-size-fits-all.

Where It Started

After high school, I studied Fine Arts at the University of Manitoba, where I learned the fundamentals of colour theory.

That understanding of the colour wheel is something I still rely on every day behind the chair, especially when it comes to formulating, correcting, and blending colour.

My background in photography and fashion also shaped how I see balance, tone, and composition, not just in images, but in hair.

The Beginning of Extensions

I first became hooked on extensions in hair school.

I would make my own clip-in sets by sewing them myself, experimenting with colour and placement long before I was formally trained. That curiosity quickly turned into a focus, and it’s been a huge part of my work ever since.

I’ve also worn extensions myself for most of my career, nearly a decade. That’s given me a personal understanding of how they should feel, wear, and grow out over time.

Why Movement Matters

Movement has always been a big part of my life.

With a background in figure skating, dance, and circus arts, I’ve spent years working with movement and flow, and how things translate visually.

That carries directly into my work, especially with extensions. It’s not just about how the hair looks when styled, but how it moves, falls, and feels in real life.

Refining the Craft

I later trained through a keratin bond certification, which gave me a strong technical foundation.

From there, I continued to refine my approach through hands-on experience and ongoing education, focusing on creating more customized, natural-looking results.

Over time, my work has evolved into fully custom extension installs and complex colour transformations.

These are the kinds of services that require patience, precision, and a strong understanding of both hair and colour.
